Stroll down the rambling lanes, with their cottage flowers, past hobbit holes and the lake and then relax with a drink beside the cackling fire at the Green Dragon Inn.
Step into the lush pastures of The Shire on a Movie Set Tour of Hobbiton. You’ll first be taken by coach through the 1,250,acre sheep farm which inspired Peter Jackson, before joining a guided walking tour of 44 hobbit holes, their beautiful gardens, as well as the Mill and Green Dragon Inn.
Lord of the Rings fans can go the whole hog and experience a twilight tour of The Shire before stopping for a drink and a feast at the Green Dragon Inn. These tours operate four times a week on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings all year round.
