Abel Tasman Sailing Adventures is a family owned business that’s been running since 2000. They offer a number of packages with options to sail, walk and kayak. Their boats all have large and open decks to allow you to relax and enjoy the wind in your hair.
Trip highlights include visiting the fur seal colony at Pinnacle Island, lunch at the paradise that is Anchorage Beach and cruising past “split apple rock”.
You can also choose an overnight stay on board classic sailing catamaran Jamarh. Choose from 1 night, 2 nights or longer if you wish.
Stay on board overnight on anchor in secluded bays. Enjoy the stillness of sunrise and sunsets and the quiet of The Park when the day trippers have departed. Trips include full use of yacht’s inventory including sit on kayaks, dinghy, fishing & snorkelling gear.
There are opportunities for sailing, fishing, swimming, beach strolling, walking coastal track, kayaking, viewing NZ fur seals, marine and bird life. At night you may discover secret caves and glow worms. By day explore shallow lagoons, islands, golden beaches and bays. Those walking the track can be dropped in one bay and picked up in another. No sailing experience necessary.
