Simply stunning

Hi NZ In Depth Team

We visited New Zealand in March and still have not come down from the most wonderful trip which was beyond our expectations. Had to pass on our utmost thanks as we’ve had completely brilliant service from Paul who organised our much longed for holiday.

As logistics and work commitments didn’t allow for a full-on experience across the two Islands of NZ, we decided to split our holiday into two separate visits and visit North Island first.

From the moment I made the first enquiry I knew Paul was the perfect person to help plan our road trip. He is extremely knowledgeable and so friendly! After my initial email enquiry Paul called and spoke to me about our wish list for the places we wanted to visit, accommodation preferences and chatted about the things we like to do in general as far as hobbies and interests go. A draft plan was sent to us very quickly and there really wasn’t much tweaking to do at all - only a little as we wanted an extra day in Auckland. That was sorted straight away. We had a final plan a good few months before the holiday so we had plenty of time to have a look at our destinations and accommodation online. Flights were booked well ahead and we had great seats!

Paul kept in touch regularly over the months of planning and was always on hand to answer any queries - absolutely nothing was too much trouble.

The final confirmation arrived a month before we flew out with all the necessary documents for travel, a great map and superbly detailed instructions which were spot on for each stage of our trip. We did not have any problems finding our booked accommodation at all and the suggested stop-offs en route were brilliant. Didn’t manage to fit them all in (NZ is full of places you turn back off route to have a look at!) but the ones we did were fantastic experiences we’ll never forget (and, yes, the Coromandel Mussel kitchen is an essential stop! Delicious!).

The NZ rep who met us off our internal Auckland to Wellington flight was a lovely chap who gave us some recommendations for places to eat and visit while in and around Wellington. He even drove us the pretty coastal route to our hotel from the airport.

Needed to contact Paul and Rebecca, on the NZ side, just the once during the holiday and my query was dealt with extremely quickly and efficiently so on we went!

The bit of New Zealand we saw and experienced and the lovely friendly people we met will stay with us forever - the place is simply stunning!

I cannot recommend New Zealand in Depth highly enough if you’re looking for help with planning a trip. It’s a long way to go from the U.K. and you just know you'll be in very good hands.

Thank you so much. Be in touch soon for our South Island adventure!

Deb & Pete Lord

PS Hope you don't mind, I've attached a few of the thousands of pictures we took to share the fun!
