Everything possible was done to make our trip special

To anyone thinking of going to New Zealand

You must talk to Paul Carberry at New Zealand in Depth. Here's what happened to us...

We came across New Zealand in Depth at the Destinations Show exhibition in Manchester. We later contacted Paul to request a quote for an itinerary we'd provisionally devised ourselves, with the intention of then approaching some other travel companies to get the best price available.

We rang Paul to arrange a meeting at his office in Buxton, and suggested a Saturday morning. Paul told us the office was normally closed on Saturdays but he would open it up just to accommodate our request.

When we arrived, Paul made us a cuppa and then gave us 3 hours of his time - yes 3 hours! - getting to know us and finding out what sort of holiday experiences we enjoyed. We talked through our draft itinerary and Paul suggested all sorts of changes to improve it, many of which we would never have discovered ourselves.

After that, we abandoned any thoughts of looking at other travel agencies. The superb individual attention Paul gave us was unlike the service we'd ever received elsewhere. And the itinerary he'd put together was unique to us, and couldn't be compared with the standard tours offered by most other companies.

Following our initial meeting, Paul kept in regular contact by email and phone to update us on progress and to suggest further changes to refine our itinerary. Everything possible was done to make our trip special and enjoyable. Paul seemed to get as much of a kick out of planning our trip as we did.

We won't describe our trip in detail here. You can look at all the other testimonials to get an idea of the wonderful places and experiences you might enjoy in New Zealand. Suffice to say that Paul delivered what he'd planned, and it was simply our best travel experience ever.

Thank you, Paul, for giving us the trip of a lifetime.
