A great adventure

The whole experience was magical. Everything went to plan. Everything happened when expected. No one was late. Everyone was helpful. The weather was lovely - only 3 bad days out of 31. In Milford Sound we were told that it rained 265 days in the year. We had beautiful calm sunshine.

Rebecca (Gill from ID Tours in Auckland) phoned to Rotorua when I was out. I tried to phone back twice but missed her so sent her a thank you postcard. It was good to know someone was there if need be. However your organisation was so perfect it wasn’t needed. I was delighted how everything slotted in, just like a child’s jigsaw.

I was very sad on my way home. The great adventure was over. I’m having difficulty settling down to day to day life. I’ll just have to get used to it.

Stewart (from Adrift Outdoors) picked me up in Taupo, so I didn’t have to get the bus from Turangi. I told the bus people. Bob and Sue Auckland (other New Zealand In Depth clients) ran me to Dunedin from the Catlins. They insisted!!

How I would love to go back. Thank you for all your excellent organisation. Your ears must have been ringing the night we were in the Catlins. Lots and lots of Brownie Points.

Many, many thanks
