OdysseyNZ's philosophy is to "Taste, Savour, Experience" and their tour options include the following:
A Twilight Odyssey is a progressive three-course meal across some of New Zealand's top winery restaurants. You will get a taste of rural New Zealand when you visit a boutique brewery in Hastings and then visit the wine growing district to participate in an interactive wine tasting at Sileni Estate After indulging in gourmet platters with top local produce and a champagne sunset on Te Mata Peak, your main meal will be at Vidal Estate or Craggy Range winery. You will then visit New Zealand's oldest winery, the Mission Estate, for dessert and coffee.
The Odyssey Experience is an action packed taste of what Hawke's Bay has to offer. You will start the day with an exclusive barrel sampling, learn about wine etiquette and tasting technique and enjoy a fully guided behind the scenes tour of the famous Church Road winery and New Zealand's only wine museum. From here you will travel to the Mission Estate for a wine tasting and two course meal accompanied by matching wines at one of New Zealand's top restaurants. After lunch you will visit a selection of wineries from the Gimblett Gravels, Ngatarawa Triangle & Dartmoor Valley and then visit a smaller winery where you will have the opportunity to meet and learn from a winemaker. You will learn about wine and food matching at a superb winery restaurant before enjoying a gourmet platter. This is the complete wine & gourmet experience!
