Arthur and Etta Newey asked us to arrange a round the world trip with New Zealand as the centrepiece.
The challenge to NZID was that Arthur and Etta neither wanted to drive themselves or join an organised coach tour.
The solution?
We arranged transport in nearly every way conceivable including flights to the Bay of Islands, the train from Auckland to Wellington, the ferry from Wellington to Picton and then another train from Picton to Christchurch.
We arranged for them to be collected from airports and stations to be transferred to their accommodation and to reach those places that plane, boat or train couldn’t we organised private limo transfers and even scheduled bus services.
We had a marvellous and unforgettable holiday. During our 5 week trip we covered around 26,000 miles on 13 flights and visited 6 countries including the Cook Islands, Australia, and Singapore. New Zealand was certainly the highlight.

We had never before been away for such a long time and usually we are keen to come home after 2 weeks. However the 5 weeks flashed by and we really didn’t want to come home at all at the end!
It was a holiday of a lifetime and we are so glad that we did it. If you are planning a similar trip then don’t leave it too late and if funds permit, travel Business Class which is worth every penny!
