Once a Maori Pa site, the exclusive lakeside lodge is steeped in local history and looks out towards the historic Mokoia Island. The lodge is a converted 1930s mansion offering nine spacious suites and supreme comfort with fine antiques and quality furnishings.
Individually designed guest suites are finished to the highest standard with five star amenities. Accommodation includes seven suites and two Lake Cottage suites which are self-contained private suites a short walk from the lodge itself. Lake Villa, the owner's residence, is a 4 bedroom contemporary home is also available by prior arrangement
Luxury Suite
Peppers on the Point offers fine cuisine and a selection of dining locations including the original 1930's timber-panelled dining room. Suites include formal settings for intimate dining and private balconies for alfresco breakfasts. Internationally acclaimed New Zealand wine may be selected from the lodge's own underground wine cellar.
Facilities include a tennis court, private beach, native bush walks and jetty for fishing trips and float plane pick up. Linking into Rotorua's spa heritage, there are therapeutic health and wellness treatment rooms and a small guest gym and sauna.
