The Lodge at Paratiho Farms
The Lodge at Paratiho Farms is one of the very finest and most luxurious accommodations available being one of just three Relais & Chateaux properties in New Zealand. Nestled in 2000 acres of pristine and secluded working farmland with many sheep, cattle and deer, the lodge is filled with international and New Zealand art and sculpture, offers the very best Nelson foods and wines, and pampers and entertains guests in a stylish, informal way.
Bedroom
Truly a gourmet destination, Paratiho enhances what the Nelson region already has. Included in the tariff are all meals - breakfast, lunch and 5 course dinner and if you spend the day exploring away from the lodge a picnic lunch will be designed to your their preferences. Also included are all beverages including wines, spirits and Champagne, a cocktail hour, and full use of the mini bar in the suites.
Separate from the main lodge are six large, extremely well appointed suites, each positioned within the grounds to give guests the utmost privacy. Every suite has a large walk in wardrobe, under floor heating which extends out onto the private outdoor patio area, a fireplace which comes on at the flick of a switch, claw foot bath, rainforest shower, laptop with internet connection, music system with CDs and a separate bedroom to lounge area for complete privacy. Fresh flowers and fruit, homemade chocolates and cookies are placed by the bed daily.
Kitchen and breakfast area
Recreational activities at the lodge include swimming, tennis, golf, petanque, croquet, a well-equipped gym complete with a sanarium (steam/sauna) and of course the 2000 acres of farm which can be explored on a self guided walk or by 4WD tour with the farmer.
In keeping with the pampering theme, we have included an on-site Health and Beauty spa offering a broad range of treatments designed to soothe and relax the mind and body, from facials, manicures and massage to hair styling, hydrotherapy treatments and body wraps.
