Edenhouse is neither a hotel or a lodge but a relaxed and gracious home situated on 48 acres in a picturesque valley. Edenhouse accepts a maximum of 6 guests allowing your hosts Peter & Bobbie Martin to focus on providing personal services, comfort and understated luxury.
The beautiful Orinoco valley
Edenhouse is located in the beautiful Orinoco Valley at the top of the South Island guests and Abel Tasman National Park, award winning vineyards, trout fishing, art and craft galleries, and lovely beaches are all within 30 minutes.
The guest rooms are spacious with outstanding views and large private bathrooms. There are two bedroom suites in the house and a third in its own cottage, 40 metres from the house. Best quality linen and toiletries are provided in all bedrooms and bathrooms.
Delicious food is served in the formal dining room or the outdoor eating areas and fresh produce including organic is always available.
Edenhouse and gardens
The large landscaped gardens offer guests several courtyard and garden areas to eat, drink and relax. For something a little bit special, guests can enjoy the private garden spa with enviable views. The spa itself is set under a pergola in a secluded area of the garden where there is an outdoor shower (hot and cold spring water) and an adjoining summer house complete with well-stocked refrigerator.
