Takaro is located on a 2000 acre private estate which is rich in activities, from trout fishing in the beautiful Upakerora River, mountain biking and horse riding to hiking in the surrounding Fiordland National Park. Spectacular regional excursions to enjoy during your stay include world-famous Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound and the Te Anau Glow Worm Caves.
