Te Anau Lodge
Your hosts Matt and Chloe invite you to experience for yourself the genuine warmth of traditional Kiwi hospitality in a relaxed, peaceful haven, which simply “feels like home!”

Te Anau Lodge
Te Anau Lodge was originally built as a convent in 1936 and relocated to Te Anau in 2003. It is set on 6½ acres of land with breathtaking lake and mountain views in a quiet and tranquil location, yet is still only a short walk to the town centre. At the gateway to Fiordland, Te Anau Lodge is ideally situated for exploring Milford and Doubtful Sounds or as a base for walking one of the numerous world class tracks that the area boasts.
The Lodge has been lovingly restored, maintaining its original charm with modern facilities, including central heating, modern bathrooms and spa baths. For that extra touch of service we provide complimentary laundry facilities, wireless internet and luggage storage.

Te Anau Chapel
In true Kiwi style, enjoy a delicious breakfast in the Chapel, and then after your day’s adventures, relax in the Library or Courtyard with a refreshing cuppa and cake for afternoon tea.
In the evening join us for complimentary aperitifs – we are always delighted to share your company and our local knowledge with you. You may simply prefer to wander through the gardens, watching the sunset and then gazing at the stunning brilliance of the southern stars.
