Anneke and John welcome you to Country Villa, an elegant restored villa in an idyllic and peaceful setting on the outskirts of Rotorua.
Country Villa in Rotorua
It is surrounded by large gardens with many native birds and views over green fields towards Lake Rotorua and in the distance Mount Tarawera, the volcano that last erupted in 1886.
Country Villa was originally built in Auckland in 1906 and transported in 3 parts to Rotorua, ninety years later.
The themed rooms are tastefully decorated and all have en-suites or private bathrooms.
Dining in the conservatory
The guest lounge is the perfect place to curl up with a good book in front of the log fire and your home cooked breakfast is served in the conservatory which has beautiful stained glass windows.
Taupo and Tauranga are only 1 hour away and Rotorua is well known for its thermal attractions, Maori culture, adventure tourism, many lakes, fishing and golf courses. All these are between 5 and 30 minutes drive from Country Villa.
